Ready for the weekend

gosh, am i EVER ready for this weekend!! i was so stressed for work but now that we landed our big client there are no worries and i’m completely stress free. there were just a few of us that didn’t go on stand-by but it was up to US to land this client. let me tell you once we did, and found out they were bringing all our co-workers back, we just went nuts. jumpin’ around, clapping, celebrating the fact that we saved the company and our jobs. we now call ourselves the Fab 5 (there were five of us on the floor, saving the place) and we did it. 😀

now i need to get focused on planning this little baby shower i’m throwing for a good friend of mine who’s due on Sept. 7th. i’m thinking of making him a little knit or crochet blanket or hat/diaper cover set or maybe a onesie..idk the possiblities are endless, i really want to make him everything but i only have two hands and a FEW full time jobs haha

anyway i’m thinking about some things to help my friends (and others) feel better about themselves. like helping them focus more on the positive things in life and not always thinking about what they are struggling with on a day by day basis. i started out with a group exercise (in a few groups of mine) asking everyone to describe themselves in one had to be positive and it had to be non-work (or mommy/daddy) related. in one of my groups i described myself as motivational, and in another i described myself as caring. which one word would you use to describe yourself?

deep in thought,

Preview on next post, creative outlet…to be continued 🙂
